Youth Conference

Join teens from across the Northern Territories and the rest of Canada for this unique opportunity! At our youth conference in Fort Providence, Northwest Territories, you will have valuable new experiences, engage with new ideas, and form lasting connections. Together we will explore the important concepts of reconciliation and decolonization, while participating in traditional on-the-land and crafting activities. You will go home with new ideas, new friends, and the inspiration and support to make a real difference in your home community. Don’t miss your chance to explore with us!

Meet New People

Form lasting friendships and connections with youth from across the country. Get to know people who are different from you, and discover all of the amazing things you have in common!

Learn New Things

Participate in on-the-land activities like bushcraft, bison hunting and more. Learn traditional crafting skills and listen to engaging guest speakers. This conference will give participants a chance to reflect on the concepts of reconciliation and decolonization. Together we will work to empower one another and discover how we can work toward these goals.

Make a Difference

After the conference, you will return home with a plan for a project that will serve your home community. You will receive ongoing support and guidance as you turn your project idea into a reality! This is your chance to really make a difference. You have the power to make change. Let’s work together to get there!
